Health and wellbeing classes

At The Triangle we offer a variety of health and wellbeing classes 

Cancer Rehab exercise classes

A gym-based circuit-style class, which you can work to your own intensity, and attend as frequently as you wish 

  • Mondays 3.05pm - 4.05pm
  • Starting 11th November

Who's it for?

  • Those who have completed a hospital-based cancer recovery programme
  • Those who want to be fit for treatment 
  • Those who want to be guided back into gym-based exercise 
  • Those who want to keep active with other

  • Easing of cancer-related fatigue

Falls Prevention exercise classes 

A low intensity workout using a variety of postural strengthening techniques, including both seated and standing exercises 

  • Mondays 2pm
  • Thursdays 1.30pm & 2.45pm

Who's it for? 

  • Those who want to improve strength, balance, and/or posture 
  • Those who are coming back from long-term illness or surgery 
  • Those who have been out of exercise and want to improve their physical health 
  • Those who have had a 1 fall or more in 12 months, or a fear of falling

  • Improved muscle strength, co-ordination, and balance

Cardiac Rehab exercise classes 

Self-paced sessions for anyone new to exercise or needing extra support for health issues or injuries

  • Thursdays 10.30am - 11.30am

Who's it for?

  • Those recovering from heart attacks, heart surgery and cardiac intervention
  • Those who want to be guided back into exercise with an instructor 
  • Those who have completed a hospital-based phase 3 recovery programme 
  • Those who want to keep active with others
