Places Leisure awarded new 20-year leisure contract by Maldon District Council

An exciting development in our partnership with the council

We have been awarded a new contract by Maldon District Council to provide leisure provision in the district for the next 20 years!

We were successfully chosen following a robust procurement process. Our bid will see a number of exciting developments and significant investment in the leisure facilities at Blackwater Leisure Centre, Dengie Hundred Sports Centre and Maldon Splash Park in Promenade Park.

Over the coming weeks, we will be engaging with our existing members and centre users to explain what the changes and new facilities will mean to them.

Our expertise will help ensure that the leisure facilities remain wide-ranging, engaging, and enjoyable for everyone, providing exceptional leisure experiences for our whole Community.

Dan Walker, Business Development Director for Places Leisure said, “We are thrilled and delighted to be extending our successful partnership with Maldon District Council.
