Saskia's story

“I've had a few health complications over the last year, and it's made me realise how important fitness is to me.”

After years of moving around the UK, Saskia has found herself back in her hometown of Wolverhampton, and since has been dedicating the last year to finding new friends, progressing in her career as a dental technician, and trying out new hobbies (like roller skating!). However, her goal for 2024 is to now start putting her efforts into fitness and to fall in love with adding fitness back into her lifestyle.

Saskia previously enjoyed pole fitness and aerial classes in the past, but now is looking to work hard to increase her fitness levels to get back to where she used to be whilst exploring new challenges and setting new goals for herself with her health being the driving factor for these ambitions.

“I've had a few health complications over the last year, and it's made me realise how important fitness is to me.” Saskia says.

Currently, Saskia admits that currently her gym routine includes following ‘online gym hacks’ from social media trends and this often doesn’t leave her feeling as comfortable in the gym as she may like. “I try my best to go to the gym two to three times a week but find myself feeling lost and defeated. I want the motivation to go and the high-like feeling afterwards of a good workout.” she adds.

This year she wants to focus on solidifying her gym routine with a specific look to gaining muscle and, more importantly to her, increasing her energy levels on a day-to-day basis and find that winning, feel-good factor exercise brings.

It’s not just the physical benefits that Saskia is aiming for, she’s also wants to be involved in a gym community that encourage and motivates each other through their workouts!
