Maxim's story

Maxim's goals aim to get him one step closer to improving his athleticism and competing at the Olympics in Paris 2024 and LA 2028. 

As an international Judo athlete, fitness plays a huge part of Maxim’s life, but that doesn’t mean his fitness goals this year are restricted to throwing, grappling, and body striking!

Maxim wants to improve his overall strength, cardio, and flexibility – areas of fitness that many of our gyms have dedicated areas for.  

When it comes to strength, Maxim hopes to improve his bench press, cleans, squats, and pull-ups. For cardio, he wants to row 1k in under 3 minutes and eventually run a marathon! Yoga and learning to do the splits are also priority areas for Maxim’s flexibility. 

Not only would achieving these help Maxim become stronger and more flexible, these goals also aim to get him one step closer to improving his athleticism and competing at the Olympics in Paris 2024 and LA 2028. 

“I believe this would make me a more well-rounded athlete and give me the winning edge on the mat.” Maxim says.
