New Parkinson's Boxercise class!

Starting Tuesday 21st January from 1.15pm - 2.00pm

We are introducing a new Parkinson's Boxercise class that incorporates boxing-based movements to improve strength, balance & co-ordination. Designed for people recently diagnosed with Parkinson's, or those with early moderate stage Parkinson's.

Research has found that group-based boxing sessions incorporating adaptable and varied exercises, and opportunities for social interaction can be beneficial to those with Parkinson's

Non-members: £3.50

Members: Free

Class details:

This session is suitable for all fitness levels and is led by a qualified boxercise instructor with specialist knowledge of Parkinson’s.

The class is 45 minutes and includes a warm up and a cool down and incorporates non-contact boxing movements. To create an inclusive environment, exercises will be adapted to accommodate individual needs

Carers are welcome to relax in the cafe on site at Wokingham Leisure Centre during the session
