Travel and parking
Our centre is located in the heart of West Bromwich.
The parking onsite is pay display charged at 80p per hour with a maximum stay of 3 hours. You will receive a two-part ticket, one to put on your car and one to bring to reception where you will be reimbursed for the parking charge paid to the machine.

Our café
We offer ethically sourced regular and decaffeinated freshly ground bean-to-cup coffees and teas. Take a break in our relaxing café setting, or simply grab a cup to take away as you leave.
We also offer a variety of sandwiches, savoury pastries and freshly toasted paninis, along with tempting handmade muffins, oat bars and cakes for a taste of indulgence.
Or, why not try one of our sandwich meal deals to accompany your Cappuccino or Latte? For younger visitors, we offer a children’s meal bag with a variety of nutritious and healthier items together with that occasional treat!
We respectively request that only food and drink purchased on our premises can be consumed on site. However, we do understand that exceptions need to be made where there are specific dietary requirements that we cannot cater for.

West Brom Saver Membership
A concessionary scheme is available for the following users of West Bromwich Leisure Centre:
- Senior Citizens – aged 65 and over
- Full Time Students 16 years and over or Trainees
- on Government Schemes
- Job Seekers (Income Based)
- Individuals in receipt of Invalid Care Allowance
- Individuals in receipt of Disability Living Allowance
Customers are able to join the scheme for £5 per year (£15 for non Sandwell residents) upon production of identification and proof of eligibility. Concessionary scheme members will be entitled to 50% reduction on casual swimming and gym use from Monday – Friday between 9am and 4pm.
Step 1:
- Pop in and collect your application form from West Bromwich Leisure Centre
Step 2:
- Complete the application form and send it by post to West Bromwich Leisure Centre, Moor Street, West Bromwich, B70 7AZ Or
- Complete the application form and bring it along to West Bromwich Leisure Centre
Step 3:
- Take your proof of identification and payment (please make cheques payable to West Bromwich Leisure Centre) to West Bromwich Leisure Centre. Proof of identification must include: Proof of address, proof of date of birth and photographic ID, as well as proof of your eligibility.
Free Swimming
Please note the following users can enjoy free swimming at West Bromwich Leisure Centre:
- Under 8s with a paying adult
- Over 60s before 1pm*
- Under 16s during school holidays*
- Registered Disabled*

We supply a wide range of Zoggs swimwear for children and adults as well as a selection of toys and fun training aids. Our staff are always on hand to understand your needs and assist you in finding the right product for you.

NPLQ courses
The National Pool Lifeguard Qualifitcation (NPLQ) is widely accepted by swimming pools in the UK and Ireland as a minimum qualification as a role of a lifeguard within the swimming pool. For just £250 you can qualify as a lifeguard with us.

NPLQ is widely accepted by swimming pools in the UK and Ireland as a minimum qualification as a role of a lifeguard within the swimming pool. For just £250 you can qualify as a lifeguard with us.
The NPLQ course includes 3 sections:
- Section 1 - The lifeguard and the Law, Swimming Pool and Supervision
- Section 2 - Intervention and Rescue and Emergency Action Plans
- Section 3 - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid.
- Section 4 - AED
The course includes swimming pool rescue skills, basic life support, basic First Aid, managing a casualty suffering from a spinal injury, managing a swimming pool environment, identifying hazards that could cause harm to users and much more.
Every candidate attending a NPLQ course must be 16-years-old at the time of taking the NPLQ final assessment and be able to:
- Jump/dive into deep water
- Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
- Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water
- Tread water for 30 seconds
- Surface dive to the floor of the pool
- Climb out unaided without ladder/steps and where the pool design allows
Successful candidates will receive:
- RLSS NPLQ certificate for each candidate
- RLSS NPLQ Lifeguard manual for each candidate
- Handouts and revision sheets for each candidate
Working in partnership with the Royal Lifesaving Society.
