Join us for our Water Safety Awareness event!
Saturday 26th April

Join us for our Water Safety Awareness event!
We are holding a Water Safety event at our centre in memory of Ronalds Abele. Ronalds sadly lost his life in 2024 due to an accident at an embankment, so we have partnered with Glamis Hall for All via the Skills for Sustainability programme to offer a free water safety awareness event to educate participants on the importance of being water safety aware.

The Event
Our Water Safety Awareness event is a free, 4 hour event on Saturday 26th April from 3.00pm - 7.00pm.
The event will provide a blend of classroom and pool-based learning, suitable for adults and children aged 10+.

What will I gain from this event?
The aim of the event is to help participants achieve the following:
- Improve awareness on water safety and the importance of being educated on life saving water safety skills
- Greater understanding of how to deal with water safety incidents they may come across or find themselves in involved in
- A 'Water Smart' award certificate from the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS)
