First Aid at Work course

Learn the basics of CPR and first aid

The course

The First Aid at Work course covers a wide range of CPR and first aid skills and equips first aiders with the ability to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses. Some topics within the course include:

  • How to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
  • How to assess an incident
  • How to assist a casualty with a minor injury or who is choking
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of a first aider

This Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification lasts 3 years and is 18 hours and can be delivered over three days. The course combines practical and theoretical classroom work, as well as a practical assessment on CPR and first aid.

  • Tuesday, August 27th - Thursday, August 29th
  • 9.00am - 4.00pm 
  • £150 per person
  • It will be taking place at Redwell Leisure Centre

Requirements

Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years old at the time of assessment. No prior first aid knowledge is required.

What will I receive if I am successful?

Successful candidates will receive a Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification
