Ben
"In my free time I enjoy participating in a variety of sports. I enjoy playing football outside of work every Wednesday with a local group and when I'm in the gym, I try to do a healthy mix of cardio and weights to keep me active. I have also started to do a bit more stretching in my routine as it is very important to stay flexible to allow me to be more active later in life."
Lorraine
"In my free time I love keeping active with a variety of activities. My main love is running- I have run 10k’s, half marathons and full marathons, including a 65k challenge for charitable causes and for my own personal achievements. My biggest reward whilst pursing my own fitness goals is definitely raising money for a variety of charities. These include the Starlight foundation, Cancer Research, Oxfam and Amnesty International. Other activities on my fitness menu are walking, stand up paddle boarding, golf, Salsa and contemporary dancing. My yoga and breathing practices help compliment my fitness regime to keep me focused, supple and stretched."
Pat
"I enjoy mixing up my training by doing a wide range of different sports on a weekly basis. These include Taekwondo, swimming, climbing and going to the gym. Hybrid training keeps things fun & exciting and allows me to learn new skills whilst keeping active."
Rachael
"I enjoy taking part in parkrun with my children each week; it’s always fun and filled with amazing community spirit. They’ve received so much encouragement in both the 5K and junior parkrun events. On top of that, I enjoy training at the centre, especially in the Group Cycling and Grit classes with my friends. I also run for the Haywards Heath Harriers, where we have weekly training sessions, and there’s a fun run league that’s great for team spirit. My children and I also enjoy playing squash at the centre together and we all love hiking with our dog, Lola!"
Mackenzie
"In my free time I enjoy strength training. I am also part of a local Martial arts club."
