Fun for all the family at The Dolphin
We offer a wide range of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy in and out of the pool.
From activities to keep the little ones active during the school holidays, to parties for that special day, to fun and active ways to spend some quality family time together - we have something for everyone.
Soft play
Our active soft play area is a great way for younger kids to develop better physical, social and emotional skills. Learning to balance, jump and climb without risk of injury will develop confidence, balance and co-ordination.

Session times
Our sessions seven days a week between 9.00am - 12:45pm and 1.30pm - 5.15pm.
Session prices
- Junior member: Free
- Non-member: £4.50
Please pay for a wristband at our reception.
The Dolphin has family friendly toilets, with baby changing facilities, free parking (up to 3 hours) and free WIFI available.
Age suitability
Age restrictions apply of 3 years to 7 years whilst Covid restrictions and measures are in place.
Soft play rules
Children using our soft play area must be supervised by an adult over the age of 16 at all times.
All users must register at reception and wear the wristband provided.
- Bookings must be made in advance at main reception
- Only one child must use each slide lane at a time - ride feet first with elbows tucked in
- No jewellery or sharp objects in the play area
- No climbing on the netting
- No food or drink in the play area
- No shoes. All users must wear socks
Gymnastics
Bouncing, spinning and rolling, and more…
Our gymnastics programme follows British Gymnastics’ Rise Gymnastics scheme – a modern take on a wonderful, legendary sport. Children of all ages and abilities have the power to shine with Rise Gymnastics.
Learning through fun games and activities to enable gymnasts to develop physically, socially and emotionally, your child will build key foundation skills for life. Achievements will be rewarded regularly with certificates and medals, and you can follow all of their progress in real-time using the Course Hub.
We also offer adult gymnastics.
Trampolining
Bounce to new heights with one of our trampolining courses! Following the Trampolining Proficiency Awards Scheme, our trampolining courses teach simple aerial tricks all the way up to big-air stunts. Our courses are adaptive for all abilities. Trampolining helps children build strong, healthy muscles and bones, and increases flexibility, balance, and coordination as well as discipline, self-esteem, and social skills.

Holiday Club
Looking for something fun for the kids this half term? Then we are here to help. Drop your child off with us for a day of fun activities! Suitable for 5 - 12 year olds.
We will have spooky themed crafts, face painting, games and the option to attend in fancy dress!

Meet Santa Morning
Join us for a magical morning where your little ones can meet Santa Claus and receive a wonderful gift from him!

Turn your child’s party into an exciting day to remember.
There's no fuss and no mess. You, your child and their friends have all the fun whilst we plan the big day for you.
We have a range of parties for you to chose from.

Inflatable Pool party
Our awesome Inflatable Pool party is guaranteed to create a huge amount of excitement.
- Suitable for ages 5+
- Available Saturday afternoons only
- 15 minute briefing + 45 minute session
- £250.00 for up to 45 children
Children under 8 must have 1-1 parental supervision
Pool party (teaching pool)
Your child will have fun and laughter with their friends, make a splash and celebrate their birthday with our fun filled pool party.
- Suitable for ages 4 to 8 years
- £133.00 for up to 15 children
- Children under 8 must have parental supervision. Maximum 2 children under 8 per adult.
Exclusive Active Adventure
Exclusive use of our purpose-built soft play area. The children will enjoy the freedom of playing, running, jumping and having amazing adventures.
- Available Saturdays and Sundays 3.30pm - 5.15pm
- Suitable for ages 3 to 6 years
- £220.00 for up to 25 children
Party room hire
All parties have the option of hiring a party room for 1 hour at the centre from £32.70 (subject to availability). You will need to provide your own refreshments. Please request at the time of booking if you would like this facility.

Active Play and Bounce
A fantastic way for your child to keep active whilst having fun! Suitable for under 5's this session includes early years play equipment, soft play and bouncy castle
Available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and now Sundays!
Roller disco
With organised games, dance routines and some super funky tunes from our professional DJ, all ages will love the excitement and thrill of skating in a safe indoor environment.
We offer two great sessions available. Our family friendly session which is aimed at kids and their big people, and our teen skate session. You can freestyle in your own skates or we have some available to hire.
Roller Disco | Additional information
Children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Adults with children can watch free of charge as long as they are not skating. Entry to main hall will not be permitted for non-skaters. Our sessions are marshalled by full qualified safety staff. Our café will be available (restricted times) to purchase food and drinks from throughout the event.
