Sports at The Bridge Leisure Centre
From booking a court with friends or learning a sport for the first time our centre has something that’s right for you. We work hard with the National Governing Bodies of a number of sports to fill our facilities with ideas that are fun and engaging.
Most of our sports are available to book online.
To do this you'll either need to be a member, or sign up for a free Places Membership.
Badminton
Badminton is an easy sport to learn and can be a very social game. The speed of the shuttlecock also makes this one of the quickest of the racket sports. It can be played at any pace making it enjoyable for all ages.
We offer a variety of badminton sessions. All sessions can be booked via the timetable below.
Athletics
Our athletics stadium is fully equipped for all major track and field events and is home to Horsham Blue Star Harriers.

Pickleball
Pickleball is a new exciting sport which combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. It is a fun and competitive way to exercise, suitable for all levels of ability.

Flitecrew Trampoline & Cheer Club
Flitecrew offers trampoline and cheerleading to international standard. In a friendly, progressive atmosphere. All coaches are qualified, DBS and safeguarding checked

Shorinjiryu Renshinkan Karate Do
Renshinkan England is a traditional karate school with nearly 40 years of teaching excellence across the whole of Sussex. We instil traditional values of discipline, commitment, hard work, honesty and integrity, all within a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We are open to all ages, abilities and fitness levels, and offer endless opportunities to develop and progress. We also have excellent links to our school headquarters in Japan and have made numerous trips, including competing in international tournaments. Classes at the Horsham dojo are led by Paul Jacob Sensei, 3rd Dan.

Shuttlers Badminton Academy
We are a Sussex based organisation providing badminton coaching opportunities for young people. Our aim is to introduce the sport of badminton to as many young people as possible in a fun, friendly environment.
The first session is free to see if you enjoy the experience.
Sessions:
- Tuesday 4.30pm-5.30pm – ages 7-12
- Wednesday 4.30pm-6.00pm – ages 12-16
- Thursday 4.15pm-5.15pm – new session for ages 7-12
- Thursday 5.15pm-6.15pm – ages 12-16
All our coaches are Badminton England qualified and DBS checked.

KDF Academy of Dance
KDF academy offers dance and performance classes for all ages and abilities in a range of styles. As well as classes in ballet, modern, tap, musical theatre, street dance, contemporary and lyrical, KDF also offers private tuition classes in singing and acting. Opportunities are endless with KDF, all students can take part in shows, compete , take exams and some cases dance in excellent theatre all over Europe. KDF love being part of The Bridge family and can’t wait to get started in the new studios - for more info or a free trial class get in touch.

Horsham Junior Athletics Clubs
The junior athletics groups at The Bridge are being taken over by local sports development and coaching company Horsham Sports Services.
They aim to provide a fun, age-appropriate and multi-disciplinary experience of athletics for younger children. As a result of their participation it is intended that some children will continue their progress into the main Blue Star Club ranks when they reach 11/12 years of age but even if they don’t their athletics endeavours will support them in other sporting pathways, contribute to their motivation to stay active and be a source of good memories as they get older!

- Wednesdays 5pm - 6pm. For 5 - 11 year olds.
- Thursdays 4.30pm - 5.30pm. For 5 - 7 year olds.
- Thursdays 5.30pm - 6.30pm. For 8 - 10 year olds.
Horsham Arun Badminton Club
With its roots being traced back to 1926, the Horsham Arun Badminton Club (HABC) has preserving the welfare of badminton as their common goal and are dedicated to their members and to the development of the game.
They run a variety of sessions here ranging from evenings to daytimes sessions for a variety of ages, including, but not limited to, students and Keenagers (over 50's).
