Following the news that Active Nation have ceased trading, we can confirm that from 3rd April 2025 all Active Nation memberships, bookings, and staff will be transferred to Places Leisure. This is includes the operation of the Southampton Water Activities Centre.

Southampton Water Activities Centre (SWAC)
Offering sailing and powerboating activities, as well as shore-based courses for adults and young people, and for the education and corporate sectors SWAC is one of the leading places for water based activities in the area.
Alongside modern teaching facilities and expert tuition, the centre boasts a comprehensive fleet of boats, lecture rooms, a comfortable lounge and wheelchair access to changing rooms and downstairs classrooms. dinghy sailing and powerboating are fantastic water sports which can be enjoyed by everyone no matter who you are.
