Following the news that Active Nation have ceased trading, we can confirm that from 3rd April 2025 all Active Nation memberships, bookings, and staff will be transferred to Places Leisure. This is includes the operation of the Southampton Water Activities Centre.
Activity bookings for members will be available soon, please check back soon for information on how to book sessions.
Outdoor Sports Centre
Welcome to our 150 acre site full of green space dedicated to the love of the great outdoors!
The Centre boasts a range of sports and exercise opportunities - including cricket pitches, multi-purpose pitches for football and hockey, tennis and netball courts, a cyclocross and BMX track, an athletics track, an assault course style trim trail, a crazy golf course and more!
We’re passionate about helping you stay physically active and emotionally engaged in fitness, sport and wellbeing. Our mission is to put our heart and soul into ‘creating active places and healthy people’ - it’s about creating a place for everyone.
