Sports at Ferndown Leisure Centre
From booking a court with friends or learning a sport for the first time our centre has something that’s right for you. We work hard with the National Governing Bodies of a number of sports to fill our facilities with ideas that are fun and engaging.
Most of our sports are available to book online.
To do this you'll either need to be a member, or sign up for a free Places Membership.
Badminton
Book a court today, join in our social badminton sessions or sign up to a course to learn how to play and develop your technique.
No Strings drop in session 16+

Squash
We have three squash courts available to book, with slots available every day of the week.
Each session costs £9.60 (peak) or £7.80 (off-peak) per court and is bookable via our timetable.

Football
At Ferndown Leisure Centre, we offer a range of pitch hire options both inside and out, for five-a-side and full 11 v 11 matches.

Walking Football
Aimed at keeping people aged 50+ involved with football if, due to a lack of mobility or for other reason, they don’t play the traditional game. The sport can be played both indoors and outdoors, we currently run sessions in the sports hall.

Disability sports
Every Friday from 5.00pm to 6.00pm we run disability cricket sessions for our visitors.
The sessions are a fun way to encourage those with disabilities to get involved with sport and to socialise with others.
