HFE award funding to Places Leisure for two aspiring instructors
To support Places Leisure meet the ongoing high-demand for water-based exercise classes, HFE have awarded funding to two Places Leisure employees to complete the level 2 aqua instructor course.
Two worthy Places Leisure employees from Fairfield Leisure and Loughton Leisure Centre will be awarded the funding and become qualified aqua instructors. Once qualified, these individuals will join the team to deliver safe, effective, and fun water-based exercise classes in the community.
Water-based exercise classes, such as Aquafit, have been a very popular and enjoyable form of exercise for many years, offering fitness goers an alternative challenge away from the high-impact nature of some studio-based exercise classes.
HFE is a UK leading provider of fitness instructor and personal training courses, delivering both in-person and online training. HFE are a CIMSPA Training Provider Partner who deliver Ofqual regulated qualifications awarded by YMCA Awards and Active IQ, ensuring the highest possible training and education for all.
Rick Gardiner, Head of Operations at HFE said, “It is great to see an organisation such as Places Leisure focus greatly on employee development. We’re looking forward to supporting the Places Leisure team to provide high-quality and engaging physical activity to the local community. We’re delighted to support Places Leisure and their mission to create active places and healthy people.”
