Our More Cards are now Places memberships!

As someone who has made a personal and financial commitment to being active, we know that fitness really matters to you. It matters to us too! Without a doubt, your dedication is the whole reason we’re here.

That is why we’re committed to offering a membership type that ensures fitness is accessible for everyone.

Our More Card membership will be transitioning to a Places membership. From this date, customers will be able to become a Places member free of charge whilst accessing our facilities and taking part in our activities and sessions with up to 20% discount.

Please note the More Card will no longer be valid at Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex and the discounts will no longer apply.

What is the difference between my More Card membership and the Places membership?

  • Our Places membership will be free of charge, compared to the previous annual fee for the More Card.
  • Bookings can still be made online and on-site, but Places members will now be able to access 7-days advanced booking for all sessions.
  • Places members will be able to save up to 20% off selected activities and sessions.

What activities and sessions can I access for a discounted price?

  • Single court hire
  • Half hall hire
  • Gym
  • GP referral
  • Group exercise classes
  • Soft play
  • Climbing
  • Adult and junior swimming*
  • Family fun*
  • Concessionary swimming*
  • Aqua classes*

This sounds great, how do I transfer my membership? 

More Card – adult

  1. Do you have an email address linked to your More Card?
  2. Yes – Please register for your new free Places membership online.
  3. No – If you do not have an email address linked to your More Card membership, please speak to a member of the team at Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex to add an email address to your account. You will then be able to register for a Places membership online.

More Card – senior concession 

  1. You will need to provide your driver’s license or passport as proof of eligibility and the email address you wish to link to your new free Places membership account.
  2. Please visit Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex and speak to a member of team to register for your additional senior discount and transfer to your Places membership.

More Card – junior (under 16s) 

  1. Both the parent/guardian of and the junior member will need to visit Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex to register for the additional junior discount and transfer to your new free Places membership.
  2. You will need to provide your passport as proof of eligibility and the email address you wish to link to your Places membership account.

More Card – student (aged 16-18)

  1. You will need to provide your student ID card as proof of eligibility and the email address you wish to link to your new free Places membership account.
  2. Please visit Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex and speak to a member of team to register for your additional senior discount and transfer to your Places membership.

More Card – EBC employees, spouses, and juniors

  1. You will need to provide your EBC staff card and either your passport or driver’s license as proof of eligibility and the email address you wish to link to your new free Places membership account.
  2. Please visit Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex and speak to a member of team to register for your additional EBC discount and transfer to your Places membership.
