Eclipse Leisure Centre Membership FAQs
Our membership types
We are excited to welcome you through the doors of the brand-new Eclipse Leisure Centre. Following a £50 million investment, the new Eclipse Leisure Centre will be operated by Places Leisure working in partnership with Spelthorne Borough Council.
We understand current members may have questions about the forthcoming membership changes. Please see some of the most common membership queries and the respective answers below.
For general information about the new centre please visit our opening information page.

I’ve been told I’m moving to a 12-month contract price, but I am currently on a flexi membership, what does this mean?
We understand that some membership prices are increasing, and we want to ensure we’re able to offer you the best rate we can. Our 12-month contract price is our best value for money and therefore, we have moved you to that price, without changing any of your terms.
Will I be locked in to a 12-month contract?
No, you won’t be locked into a contract and you’re free to cancel at any time, should you wish to do so.
How long will I be given the 12-month contract rate?
We will offer you this lower rate until 31st December 2024, when you will have the option to stay on the lower rate by joining a 12-month contract or move to our flexi membership where payments will increase.
What’s happening with Bolt-on memberships?
We do not offer all of the bolt-on memberships previously available via Everyone Active. We will be contacting people individually where this affects your membership.
If you had the bolt-on for 14 day booking rights, this is no longer required. All of our memberships allow advanced 15 days booking rights to the activities included within your membership package.
What do I do if I want to change my membership?
We want you to be happy and enjoy a membership that’s best for you! Please know that you always have options, and we will work with you to find the best fit for you. Our main goal is to keep you active and healthy. If you have any questions about your membership, please email our team on enquirieseclipse@pfpleisure.org.
