Boating Lake - Terms & Conditions

•  All Participants must wear the provided buoyancy aids. 
•  All craft are let at hirer's risk and responsibility for damage done to craft or property during hire, however caused, is at hirer's risk. Deposits will be held against cost of any damage to craft or equipment and costs incurred due to loss of hire. 
•  No children under the age of 3 years. You confirm that all participants in your group are over 3 years of age. Please be aware that, regardless of age, if children are too small to be adequately protected by our child buoyancy aids, they will not be allowed to participate. The final decision is ours.
•  Pregnant persons may not take part. 
•  Hirer’s must notify us immediately of any damage or loss of craft or equipment. Craft must not be left unattended. 
•  Craft returned late will be charged for the duration of the hire. Craft more than 30 minutes late are deemed stolen. 
•  Hirer’s are responsible for the safe and reasonable use of the craft. Only the max number of passengers stated on the craft are permitted. 
•  The payment of a deposit or full charges for the hire and acceptance of a booking ticket is deemed to acknowledge acceptance of these and any other terms of business which may be displayed in the Charlton lake side premises.
•  Expenses incurred for collection of craft not returned to the boathouse will be chargeable, including loss of hire. 
•  Craft returned unfit for re-hire (i.e. very muddy and dirty) are subject to a cleaning charge min £5 max of £15. 
•  The minimum age to hire any craft is 18 years of age. A minimum of one person aged at least 18 years must be in each craft. 
•  During the hire of craft any personal belongings left here are left entirely at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for any loss. 
•  All customer transactions are recorded on CCTV for security purposes. 
•  Early finishes are not eligible for a part/whole refund. 
•  No Alcohol is to be taken afloat and PFP reserve the right to refuse hire if they suspect clients are under the influence of alcohol. 
•  Disclaimer. Places For People Leisure Ltd. Will not be liable for any death, personal injury, or loss of or damage to goods arising out of the hire of any items by them unless that death, personal injury or loss of, or damage to the goods arises directly from an act of omission on the part of the company, its servant or agent. 
•  Places For People Leisure Ltd. Does not have any responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage to your personal belongings.
