Your gym is having an upgrade!
Everything you need to know
We're making some exciting changes to your workout space! To ensure we are able to carry out these improvements with the least amount of disruption, the gym will be closed from the end of the day on Thursday 24th October and will reopen on Saturday 16th November. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but are excited to share the upgrades with you!
Stay active with us
We don’t want you to miss out on staying active, therefore a temporary gym will be available for your use from 6pm on Friday 25th October until Saturday 16th November. This will be located within our Sports hall and will include the following equipment:
- 2 x cross trainers
- 2 x treadmills
- Recumbent bike
- Upright bike
- Leg, should and chest press
- Low row
- Leg curl & leg extension
- Lat machine
- Pectoral fly
- Abductor
- Plus free weights, adjustable benches and dumbbells ranging from 1- 20kg
Please note that Monday to Friday from 3.30pm - 4.30pm will be juniors only sessions. We will also be running a junior circuit in the sports hall, Monday to Friday from 3.45pm - 4.30pm
Onto the exciting part...
We're making a whole host of equipment changes, including some brand-new additions
- Glute drive
- Hack squat
- Multi-jungle crossover
- Total body arc trainer
- SkiErg
- Airbike
- Upper cycle GX
- Smith machine
- Multiple adjustable pulley
- Lat pulldown
As well as some upgrades to our most-loved machines, these include:
- Cross trainer
- Recumbent and upright bikes
- Indoor rower
- Leg press
- Multiple benches
- Plate loaded chest and leg press
- Assist Dip Chin
- Low row
- Leg extension/leg curl
- Various weights and accessories, including plates, dumbbells and kettlebells
We're also installing upgraded Chest Press and Row machines, carefully crafted to be fully accessible for all members of our community.
Accessibility features include:
- Large, single handed operation swing-away seat and back support for wheelchair access and those with limited mobility
- Clear, uncluttered instructions with text and illustrations, alongside larger raised iconography on the weight stack and adjustments
- Aluminium rings to allow visually-impaired users to feel where dual handgrips are located
- 2.5kg weight increments with easy-to-use selector pins
New Box12 Hub
Get your pulse racing and boost your stamina with our brand-new BOX12 Hub - a 36-minute workout consisting of 12, 3 minute rounds that combine boxing and functional fitness exercises tailored to your fitness level.
No need to rely on anybody else, just turn up when you're ready to start round 1!

The EGYM Fitness Hub is a knowledgeable guide designed to support you on your fitness journey. Its innovative features allow you to:
