Fun for all the family at Ashington Leisure Centre
We offer a wide range of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy in and out of the pool.
From activities to keep the little ones active during the school holidays, to parties for that special day, to fun and active ways to spend some quality family time together - we have something for everyone.
Swim for all
Free swim sessions in our 16m main pool. A responsible person of 16 years or over must supervise two children under 8 years. Over 8's can swim unaccompanied.
Soft play
Our four-storey wild jungle-themed soft play area is great for your little monkeys to explore and stay active.
90 minute sessions are suitable for children up to 12 years of age.
Family Fun
Make a splash at Ashington Leisure Centre in our Family Fun sessions. Meet other families and have some fun every Saturday!
Our sessions
Our Family Fun sessions will include play with small toys and inflatables- not only is it a fun day out at our leisure centre, it's a great way to keep your little ones active!
- Every Saturday from Saturday 8th March
- Sessions from 1.00pm - 2.00pm & 2.00pm - 3.00pm
- Suitable for families with children aged up to 8 years old
- A responsible person of 16 years+ must supervise two children under 8 years old

Holiday activities
We understand the importance of children being active during the holidays.
Our experienced and fully qualified team deliver a wide range of holiday activities to keep your children entertained.

Holiday activities
New Inflatable Fun
Try our giant pool inflatable in our main pool, with 'wipe-out style' courses with obstacles and slides which adults and kids can scale and climb through. Can you get to the other side without falling overboard?
Dates & times:
- Tuesday 15th, Tuesday 22nd April & Friday 25th April at 1.00pm - 2.00pm & 2.30pm - 3.30pm
