Try before you buy

Are you thinking about joining one of our brilliant leisure centres?

Sign up for one of our free centre tours and a member of our friendly team will show you around the facilities. There's no obligation to join and it's a great way to see what's on offer and what the centre is all about.

How do I sign up?

To join one of our tours, you'll need to be a Places member. This is a free membership that will allow you to 'Pay as you move' in future and pay for exercise classes, gym and swim sessions individually. It also allows you to use our great Places Locker app for free, use SWIMTAG when you're in the pool and have 7 days' advance booking rights. All for free.

If you aren't a Places Member yet, you'll ned to sign up. It only takes a couple of minutes, and once you've confirmed your email address, you can log in and book a 'New Member Tour' at a time and date that suits you.

If you already have a Places membership, or have downloaded the Places Locker app before, then you don't need to do anything else! Just log in, choose the centre that you're interested in and find a 'New Member Tour' at a date and time that suits you.
